When most people hear the term “telesales” they instantly think of that annoying person who calls them every time they sit down for dinner with their family after a long day of work.  It is almost like they have ESP and know the worst possible time to call you and they take pleasure in annoying you.  The second thing most people think of is the “slick liar” who tells you “you just won……..” or some other lie to try and get you to buy something you don’t need.  The one thing nobody thinks of when they hear telesales is “a helpful, highly informed, courteous professional who only calls me with something of value that I always appreciate hearing from”.. Right?

It is this very negative stereotype of what people think of when they combine sales with telephone that has made it as desirable a thing to do as hitting yourself in the face with a frying pan.  But here is the problem, if you do ANY type of sales, including photography, using the telephone effectively is one of the most important skills you need to be successful.
