There’s a lot of high seas adventure in… Read More If you’ve been plundering the Caribbean as Captain Edward Kenway for the last month or so and are looking for a fresh perspective in piracy, perhaps the upcoming “Freedom Cry” DLC is worth a look. Featuring the likes of Adwale, Kenway’s right hand on the Jackdaw, “Freedom Cry” is a round of story-driven content. The plot falls 15 years after the conclusion ofAssassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, and it stars a now-Assassin Adwale as he battles slavery in the West Indies. The DLC will supposedly feature a fully fleshed out single player campaign as well as new weapons, a new take on plantations and new assassinations. “Freedom Cry” was included in the price of the Season Pass for those who have already picked that up. If you haven’t bought into all the DLC forAssassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, you can snag “Freedom Cry” alone for 9.99 starting on Dec. 17. The DLC will be available for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC platforms on that day. The Wii U’s version has not been given a release date yet.
